Don, a Coast Guard veteran, and Ellen have been avid life-long boaters.  Docking for many years in  Hingham harbor, they became friendly with the crew serving at Point Allerton (Hull, Ma).  Looking at all the hard-working enlisted women and men, Don and Ellen knew it was the time in life to give back.  

So, they went to the store and made sure they had at least one gift for each child.  They loaded up the truck and headed to the station with their son in tow to pass out toys, diapers and clothes to some very thankful service men and woman who don't have a lot and are all a long way from home and their families.  To this day, not one family has ever asked for anything, and quite honestly, they are always surprised to experience such generosity.

The word spread and now Don and Ellen service several stations in the New England area with the help of many amazing friends each year, hoping to someday have a gift wrapped for every kid.
